Why S25netfs not mounting the CIFS shares at boot time ?
Issue
- We have a set of entries in
/etc/fstabthat should automatically mount our CIFS shares from the target Windows servers but it does not do this on reboot . When we runmount -ait does. - If we rename the
S25netfsto sayS98netfsi.e make it later in the boot sequence for run level 3 it then automount on reboot. LDAPgroups are used as options to mount theCIFSshares in/etc/fstab.
