SAN based logical volumes are not activated at boot time
Issue
- When rebooting the system, SAN based logical volumes are not activated, causing the system to drop to Emergency shell
- Tried adding _netdev, but this has not helped (solution 38249)
- In single user mode, we run the
multipathcommand and eventually paths respond, and mpath devices are created. - From here, system boots normally
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
