Satellite: Internal Server Error observed when comparing configuration files on 500 machines

Issue

Started configuration file comparison on about 500 hosts
Tried pointing the browser to Completed Actions page: https://satellite.example.com/rhn/schedule/CompletedActions.do. The browser spooled and eventually displayed the error message "500 Error - Internal Server Error"
A few minutes later I switched to the Pending Actions page. I could see that approximately 60% of hosts completed comparison
Tried switching back to Completed Actions page unsuccessfully.
