JBoss JGroups error " [UDP] failed setting receive buffer size "

Issue

  • After starting JBoss, the following warning messages appear in the logs
    18:45:01,389 WARN  [UDP] failed setting receive buffer size of 20000000 in java.net.DatagramSocket@b0c0b0c: java.net.SocketException: There is not
    enough buffer space for the requested socket operation.
    18:45:01,389 WARN  [UDP] failed setting receive buffer size of 25000000 in java.net.MulticastSocket@c020c02: java.net.SocketException: There is 
    not enough buffer space for the requested socket operation.
    18:45:01,390 WARN  [UDP] failed setting receive buffer size of 25000000 in java.net.MulticastSocket@c380c38: java.net.SocketException: There is
    not enough buffer space for the requested socket operation.
