Getting error ORA-12154 on a recently installed satellite when any service tries to connect to the database
Issue
- tomcat is unable to connect to java, throwing an exception
Throwable occurred: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
- error ORA-12154 is being raised when trying to connect to the satellite instance
- I installed satellite with an umask stronger than 022 and can't start tomcat
- I upgraded satellite with an umastk stronger than 022 and can't start tomcat
- satellite is unable to connect to the oracle database
