Cannot create Windows template names of more than 15 characters via the RHEV Admin Portal

Issue

  • Windows template name cannot exceed more than 15 characters when created via RHEV Admin Portal. This is in conflict with the REST-API where the name can be made as large as 40 characters.
  • Not able to create Windows template with names exceeding 15 characters. The limitation is applicable only to Windows templates.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) 3.1 and earlier
