Issue

  • While using tcsh, the source command silently fails while using an if statement.

Any single line if statement with a source command silently fails in an expressions such as:

   if ( -e ~/.myaliases ) source ~/.myaliases

There is no error given and the file is not processed.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
  • tcsh-6.17-19.el6_2
