How to force stop "dbus-launch --autolaunch" process immediately after terminal exit ?
Issue
-
Following below mentioned steps to connect to the server remotely and run applications:
- Remotely connect to RHEL6 via ssh
- Run application, eg:
gnome-terminal
-
After closing
gnome-terminalon a RHEL6 machine, there are some remaining processes :dbus-launch --autolaunch c98cb693e2679b0507e379030000001d --binary-syntax --close-stderr /bin/dbus-daemon --fork --print-pid 5 --print-address 7 --session -
Is there any way to have these processes killed immediately after
gnome-terminalexit? - Why does
dbus-launchprevents "ssh(X11Forwarding) " from terminating correctly in RHEL 6?
