How to force stop "dbus-launch --autolaunch" process immediately after terminal exit ?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Following below mentioned steps to connect to the server remotely and run applications:

    • Remotely connect to RHEL6 via ssh
    • Run application, eg: gnome-terminal
  • After closing gnome-terminal on a RHEL6 machine, there are some remaining processes :

    dbus-launch --autolaunch c98cb693e2679b0507e379030000001d --binary-syntax --close-stderr /bin/dbus-daemon --fork --print-pid 5 --print-address 7 --session

  • Is there any way to have these processes killed immediately after gnome-terminal exit?

  • Why does dbus-launch prevents "ssh(X11Forwarding) " from terminating correctly in RHEL 6?

Environment
