On Satellite 6 sync fails with " Yum Metadata:('Connection aborted', gaierror(-2, 'Name or service is not known'))"

Issue

  • On satellite 6 under Content -> Sync Status can see Incomplete Sync with error :
Yum Metadata:('Connection aborted', gaierror(-2, 'Name or service is not known'))

Yum Metadata:('Connection aborted', gaierror(-3, 'Temporary failure in name resolution'))
  • Recently done upgrade from satellite 6.0 to 6.1
