How to disable drdb mounts upon boot time

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The system had couple of drbd mounts for which there was an entry made in /etc/fstab file so that it could mount during boot process:

     /dev/drbd1 /data1 ext3 _netdev,relatime 0 2
     /dev/drbd2 /data2 ext3 _netdev,relatime 0 2

Some of these mounts now no longer exists on server, but due to above entries, system still tries to mount it in boot process and leaves the control at maintenance prompt. How to remove above entries in /etc/fstab file from maintenance mode?
