EAP fails to start when using default template

Issue

  • When trying to deploy a JBoss application we get an error when jboss eap is starting up. This is consistent regardless the java project deployed on the jboss container.

  • Why below error is seen when trying to deploy EAP application :

11:41:15,140 ERROR [org.jboss.as.controller.management-operation] (Controller Boot Thread) JBAS013412: Timeout after [300] seconds waiting for service container stability. Operation will roll back. Step that first updated the service container was 'add' at address '[
    ("core-service" => "management"),
    ("management-interface" => "native-interface")
]'
  • eap6-basic-sti template does not work in Openshift 3
