Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 as an NFS client ignores mount options
Issue
Mount options used to mount a share on a NFS client are copied over to subsequent mounts on the client from the same share.
Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5

The options that are specified are compatible with the NFS server.

More than one volume is being mounted from the same NFS server.

When the same mount is attempted under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (if possible), the new options are honoured.
