The overrun value in the RX line of ifconfig output is high
Issue
- In some interface the overrun values in RX line is high but there are no drops
- What is causing the overruns?
- Will these overruns cause low performance?
- NIC overruns % appears too high . One of the NICs in a bonded interface is running a high percentage of overruns when compared to the other NIC.
- Is this an issue in waiting and/or how to track the cause of the overruns ?
