org.drools.WorkItemHandlerNotFoundException: Could not find work item handler for xxx in jBPM5

Issue

  • In jBPM console, I get the following exception when I start a process.
org.drools.WorkItemHandlerNotFoundException: Could not find work item handler for xxx

This is despite the fact that model and supporting classes are available in the lib path of the business-central-server.war/WEB-INF/lib

  • Red Hat JBoss BRMS (BRMS)
    • 5.3.x
  • jBPM
    • 5.2
