Why am I seeing CLOSE_WAIT AJP Connections from JBoss?

Issue

After a period of time you may see an accumulation of CLOSE_WAIT connections left over by JBoss. You may see these problematic connections by running "netstat -vatnp | grep <AJP port, usually 8009>" from the command line.
