RHEL 6.3 Kernel doesn't allow VMware machines to boot on VMware Workstation 8

Issue

  • After applying RHEL 6.3 kernel,VMware Workstation guest no longer boots. Booting with Red Hat 6.2 kernel resolves the issue.

Following message is seen in the logs
