Unable to modify the HTML component in a form by clicking on "Apply" button in BPM Suite 6.1.2
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Business Process Management Suite (BPM Suite) 6.1.2
Issue
After changing a HTML component content in a form from a Human Task, the change is missed after clicking on Apply button.
Resolution
As a workaround, you will need to click on Source -> add your changes/content -> click on Source again and then click on Apply button.
Root Cause
The BZ-1232426 was raised in order to get it fixed in a future release.
Diagnostic Steps
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a simple task with one Human Task;
- Generate and edit the Human Task form;
- Select and drag the
HTML componentto the form; - Click in the
HTML componentand inPropertybutton; -
Click on
Sourcebutton and add the code below replacing the HTML:<p> Press the button below: </p> <button onclick="alert('Hello World');">Test</button> - Click on
Applybutton. - Everything will be missed.
