Able to get past the error, by defining a subnet for the host. Find it odd that the form for the host does not require the entry but Kickstart build of the host fails without the setting.
This leads to another related question. The host is being built on a subnet where DHCP is implemented but when tried to download a host specific ISO image to boot the machine it saysFailed to render book disk template: ERF42-2320 [Foreman::Exception]: Host has no IP address defined. -
Why does the host need an IP address defined, it is getting an IP address from DHCP?
Environment
- Satellite 6.1.1 (GA)
