Error while starting httpd service with mod_ssl enabled.

Issue

  • While starting httpd service with mod_ssl enabled, the following error is displayed:
suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper: /usr/sbin/suexec)
[error] Server should be SSL-aware but has no certificate configured [Hint: SSLCertificateFile] ((null):0)
  • httpd fails to start and the following is displayed in ssl_error_log:
