svn issue
Issue
- Getting below error when trying to use svn:
svn: OPTIONS of 'https://code.ieee.org/xplapps/trunk/xplore/misc/virtual_journals/templates': SSL handshake failed: SSL error: Key usage violation in certificate has been detected. (https://code.ieee.org)
- We have a RHEL5 instance running SVN with no problems, but when we try SVN on a RHEL6 box we get the error. We are unsure of the source of this error on the RHEL6 box.
- We use an internally signed cert by Orbit. Would that be considered as self signed ?
- Is there anyway to trust the certificate on the linux client?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
- svn
