Service httpd can not be restarted

RHEL 7
httpd
Issue
The httpd service was running. After running service restart, the service does not start.
Resolution
Check for disk space where error_log is stored:
$ df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
...
/dev/mapper/VolGroup_Varlog-var_log 25587500 25587480 20 100% /var/log
...
Root Cause
Exhausting disk space designated for storing logs prevents apache httpd from starting.
Diagnostic Steps
Check the httpd configuration file for where error_log is expected to be stored and run df command to check free disk space.
