Unable to mount UDF image in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5

Issue

  • Getting below error while mounting UDF image:
# mount -t udf /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
mount: block device /dev/cdrom is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom,
       missing codepage or other error

# blkid
/dev/sda2: LABEL="/" UUID="6dcc77a4-31d8-4d5c-a083-3e8e988db216" TYPE="ext3" SEC_TYPE="ext2"
/dev/sda1: LABEL="/boot" UUID="bed468fc-6f53-4391-b9b6-2af9a9588bad" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3"
/dev/cdrom: TYPE="udf"
/dev/hdc: TYPE="udf"
/dev/sdb: TYPE="swap"
