How can we install camel-jpa without installing openjpa in a Fuse 6.1-setup in order to use hibernate ?
Issue
-
We were recommended migrating from openjpa to hibernate as openjpa won´t be supported anymore by RedHat starting with Fuse Release 6.2.
Also, this seems to be the recommendation by RedHat given in https://access.redhat.com/solutions/350553. -
We looked into our implementation and found out that openjpa is installed in our deployment as a dependency of
camel-jpafeature here. -
We see that in 6.2 you throw openjpa out of the feature https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/ea/org/apache/camel/karaf/apache-camel/2.15.1.redhat-620128/apache-camel-2.15.1.redhat-620128-features.xml.
-
How does this fit together for our still 6.1-setup, or put another way: how can we install camel-jpa without installing openjpa in a 6.1-setup in order to use hibernate?
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Fuse
- 6.1.0
- Hibernate/OpenJpa
