Kernel panic with RIP clone_endio called from cciss:cciss_softirq_done with HP Smart Array
Issue
- Kernel panic in
cciss:cciss_softirq_donewith HP Smart Array - Kernel crash at with RIP
clone_endio - Just prior to crash we see this in the log:
cciss: cmd ffff810037c00c30 has CHECK CONDITION sense key = 0x3
device-mapper: core: unimplemented target endio return value: 258
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- kernel 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5
- LVM logical volumes over CCISS devices
