Issue
Switching from user to root fails with the error : "su : Authentication Failure"
We see the following errors in secure logs :
unix_chkpwd[3179]: password check failed for user (root)
su: pam_unix(su-l:auth): authentication failure; logname=root uid=650 euid=0 tty=pts/0 ruser=james rhost= user=root
su: pam_succeed_if(su-l:auth): requirement "uid >= 1000" not met by user "root"
