Accessing rules packaged in kjars from remote BRMS maven repository from Spring based application causes "package org.kie.api does not exist" error

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • While trying to access rules packaged inside kjar from remote BRMS maven repository using Spring application it causes the error package org.kie.api does not exist during compilation of the project through JBDS. Specifically the issue appeared after adding kie-api library to the Spring project. Does it required any plug-in to the project pom.xml to resolve the issue or any dependency needs to be added?
