Cannot print double-sided or landscape to a text-only print queue in RHEL - Red Hat Customer Portal

Issue

The test of the double-sided page was sent to p12, and it was done in 2 sheets, instead of double-sided.
I have the lpoption landscape=true set but it is ignored by the printer queue. We expect to see printouts to this queue in landscape mode. We are using the textonly type of printing.
We want to change the cpi to 15 or 16 on our text only laser printer. We have the following in our lpoptions file: "Dest ITlaser1 columns=132 cpi=16.66 lpi=6 wrap=false" but that doesn't seem to be working.
