virt-v2v converted VMs from VMware uses full disk allocation while importing them to RHEV
Issue
- Converted VMs (virtual machine) from VMware using virt-v2v uses full disk allocation while importing to RHEV.
- Data domain type on RHEV is FC.
- VMs are conveted using the options qcow2 and sparse. Conversion command used is,
virt-v2v -of qcow2 -oa sparse -ic esx://<vmware_ip>/?no_verify=1 -o rhev -os import_domain:/nfs_export VM_Name

- Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.0
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2
- virt-v2v 0.8.3
- VMWare ESXi
