JBoss Datasource - MaxWaitTime

User received reports from customer that they are experiencing slow performance with regards to servlet response time. This happens on our production servers (3-way application cluster - not JBoss clustered). Only 2 of the PRD servers are experiencing this.

Based on the custom monitoring alert (using jboss-cli), user received a continuous error of datasource MaxWaitTime statistic in which user have set the the limit to be 10000.

test1: 20150517-07:32:09 ERROR;test1DS MaxWaitTime too high: 15168

test2: 20150517-07:37:30 ERROR;test2DS MaxWaitTime too high: 27075

Elaborate/investigate what might have caused this MaxWaitTime value to shoot up beyond the limit.
