Why do some gears in production after a programmed restart don't restart ?

Issue

  • After a programmed restart of GEAR of production some of these don't restart . We restart Gear one at a time.
  • We had rewrite the dam.war in one of the GEAR DOWN and then we had try to restart the GEAR. But this failed again.
  • Subsequently we had moved psg.war and dam.war in an another path and we had removed the .failed file in one of the GEAR DOWN. Then we have retry the deploy. The deploy had been success only with ROOT.war. Then we had moved the psg.war and the deploy had been success too.
  • But when we have retry the same thing with dam.war the deploy failed.
  • Is there a method to increase the verbose of jboss log in restarting phase?
