Why SAP check_libuuidd reports that the uuid daemon is not active?

Issue

  • We encounter an error on SAP system The UUID daemon (uuidd) is not active (code 30256) on RHEL7.1 and the SAPCONF already install.
  • The UUIDD Service start too
  • uuidd is enabled and started by check_libuuidd.sh reports and error
  • UUID daemon (uuidd) is not active (code 30256)

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • uuidd-2.23.2-21
  • SAP
