Why is a QNAP NFS server completing metadata operations quicker than RHEL NFS server?
Issue
- I have a clustered system with SAS disk storage. We are replacing a qnap system. When I copy over nfs from the cluster system the copy is twice as long then the qnap system.
Environment
- QNAP TurboNAS TS-859U+, Version 3.8.2, Build 20130301
- RHEL 6.5 NFS server, kernel 2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64
