How to change log file configuration of JBoss ON server ?

Issue

  • Can you please advise where and how to change the JBoss ON server logging configuration file?
  • We found JBoss ON server log file is configured as daily rotating backup. We want to change it to a size Rotate backup that is disk space manageable. We updated file logging.properties and put it into folder: /jon-server/jbossas/standalone/configuration. Once we restarted JBoss ON server, this logging.properties file is overridden. Our change does not work. Can you please advise where and how to change the JBoss ON server logging configuration file?
  • Can JBoss ON server rotate its logs and get rid of 3 week old logs or can the configuration be changed?
