Setting "console-enabled" attribute to false does not disable the web management console in EAP

Issue

  • need admin console disabled but http interface enabled for rhq agents
  • How can I disable the admin console but still keep the http interface enabled so that rhq agent can connect to it ?
  • Using console-enabled attribute does not work for disabling the web management console:
          <http-interface security-realm="ManagementRealm" console-enabled="false">
                <socket interface="management" secure-port="21205"/>
            </http-interface>

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6.2.4, 6.3.3
  • Domain mode
