When writing to EMC XtremIO array I get 'Warning: Error fsyncing/closing /dev/emcpowerw: Input/output error'
Issue
- I have an EMC XtremIO flash array. When creating a device with 4k blocksize I get these messages when trying to write to it:
Warning: Error fsyncing/closing /dev/emcpowerw: Input/output error
sd 3:0:1:0: [sdg] Bad block number requested
sd 3:0:1:0: [sdg] Bad block number requested
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- EMC PowerPath (c) Version 5.7 SP 5 (build 2)
