Sometimes Business Central throws the 'org.eclipse.jgit.errors.MissingObjectException' with message 'Missing unknown' while creating an asset

Issue

  • It has been observed that sometimes while creating an asset Business Central throws the exception.

Unable to complete your request. The following exception occurred: org.eclipse.jgit.errors.MissingObjectException: Missing unknown acc5869e3f8a387b1081db6424d3e38b63f0fe66.
  • For an example the issue can occur even while creating a DSL definition file using Business Central. When trying to create a DSL definition file it does not allow to create the file throws the same issue. At this point users cannot do anything with the Business Central application . It does not even open existing BPMN2 process definitions. How to fix this kind of issue?
