Do we need to reinstall RHEL after replacing motherboard?
Issue
- There was a h/w issue with motherboard in one of our UCS C200 M1 server and vendor had recommended to replace motherboard.
- The root filesystem is created on software raid (mdraid), do we have to re-install RHEL and all software on the system, or can we just plug the hard drives into the system with the replaced mother board and boot the system?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
