If firewalld is stopped then the rules in iptables or ip6tables will still work in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7?
Issue
- I've shutdown the firewall in my RHEL7 server. Will iptables or ip6tables work?
- Why the iptables are still effective even if firewalld is disabled?
- Why the rules in the iptables still getting processed even if the firewall is disabled in RHEL7?
- Is firewalld and iptables OR ip6tables independent?
