All lvm commands do not recognize a newly initialized partition
Issue
When running the lvm vgcreate command on a newly initialized partition, lvm does not recognize the device as a physical volume.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- lvm2-2.02.74-5.el5_6.1
