Issues reading PPD files via the RHEL 6.6 CUPS Web UI

Issue

  • We are unable to set the default options for a printer. The options for the printer are not being displayed in the CUPS Web user interface.
  • We tried to retrieve the information from a PPD file via CUPS web interface. This action is successful in RHEL 6.5, but in RHEL 6.6, the action failed.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.6
  • Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.4.2-67.el6
