Error mesage when ldap users are switching to root.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

Prerequisites:

Installed package: oddjob-0.27-12.el5
The system is configured for LDAP authentication and automatic home directory creation if one is not existing. For the purpose the package oddjob has been installed and configured. The configuration involves a line in /etc/pam.d/system-auth:

session optional pam_oddjob_mkhomedir.so skel=/etc/skel umask=0077

The result is that the ldap user can authenticate as root using "su", but everytime it logs in, the system is producing the error:

org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
