Issue

  • Why do I only get a limited number of GDT blocks when using a smaller block size?
  • Is there a limitation with the -E option in the mkfs command?
  • When using a 1024 block size, using the -E resize option withmkfs doesn't seem to change the number of GDT blocks created.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
