Problems with Camel logging using standalone Camel war file

Issue

  • Users use a standalone Camel deployment because they need a specific version of Camel-CXF. They've got it working, but for some reason logging does not operate. Whether they use <log message=""/> or <to uri="file://filename"/> there is nothing showing up in the log4j files (although zero byte log files do get created). How to solve this problem?
