Issue
- Encountering frequent Apache segmentation faults and core dumps
- Encountering frequent Apache segmentation fault errors with coredumps

Apache log contains the following message:

Apache web server produced a core dump due to exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Apache access_log indicates a request with an empty request method at the time of a seg fault

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5, 6
- Apache snmpagt_module from Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 2.3, 2.3.1, 2.4, 2.4.1, 2.4.2, 3.0, 3.0.1, 3.1.0
- HTTP Request which contains an empty request method
- A request time-out (408 response)
