How to start kickstart installation via GRUB

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

This does not work:

    kernel /vmlinuz-rhel-net-upgrade ip=<IP> gateway=<GATEWAY> netmask=<NETMASK> ksdevice=bootif nicdelay=30 ks=nfs:nfsvers=3://<SERVER IP>/<PATH TOO FILE>/ks.cfg
    initrd /initrd-rhel-net-upgrade

I have had it without nfsvers=3 and in both cases it drops me to a screen with" Unable to download the kickstart file".

Looking the following references, grub should be able to load ks directives in this way, but it seems nfs is not working. The nfs configuration is correct as PXE installs succeed, but this grub boot option to reprovision HPC nodes is not working.

Possibly adding vnc options could help to diagnose.
