Issue

  • Connection fails asking browser for client certificate
  • Secure connection failed:

    An error occurred during a connection to jon-01.example.com:7443. SSL peer cannot verify your certificate. (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_alert)
        The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
        Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
    

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.2, 3.3
  • JBoss ON server and agent are configured to use sslsocket for agent to server communication
  • JBoss ON server configuration property rhq.server.tomcat.security.client-auth-mode is set to true
