Seeing the dracut: "inactive '/dev/SystemVG/rootLV' [2.00 GiB] inherit" messages in server?

Issue

  • We noticed the dracut messages while system booting, should we concern about it?
[root@localhost ~]# dmesg |grep inactive
dracut: inactive '/dev/VolGroup00/ROOT' [2.00 GiB] inherit
dracut: inactive '/dev/VolGroup00/usr' [7.81 GiB] inherit
dracut: inactive '/dev/VolGroup00/var' [3.91 GiB] inherit
dracut: inactive '/dev/VolGroup00/tmp' [3.91 GiB] inherit
dracut: inactive '/dev/VolGroup00/opt' [3.91 GiB] inherit
dracut: inactive '/dev/VolGroup00/home' [1.97 GiB] inherit
dracut: inactive '/dev/VolGroup00/swap' [32.00 GiB] inherit
