JBoss AMQ authentication with Active Directory missing applicationProcess object class.

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

I have a system which is running Red Hat JBoss AMQ and an Active Directory. I wish to use existing AD users to authenticate access to the broker and to the Hawtio webconsole. This will then be setup to allow different groups or users access to different queues and with different access levels, read, write etc.

I am currently in the process of configuring AMQ to use the AD authentication but I’ve struck a problem in AD.

As in Step 4 of the tutorial Add Authorization Entries I have got it working in an LDAP server I made in Apache Directory Studio. Now I’m trying to implement it in Active Directory with Active Directory Users and Computers from Microsoft.
When I go to make new entries with object classes set to ‘organisationalUnit’ or ‘group’ it works fine because AD supports this.
The problem occurs in step 4. c. when I go to make a new entry and try to select the ‘applicationProcess’ object class. It allows me to make the object class ‘group’ and several others but I see no way to set ‘applicationProcess’ as the object class. Perhaps there is another class I can use?
