A non-GFS or non-GFS2 file system fails to mount or work properly when managed by a clusterfs resource in a RHEL 5 or 6 High Availability cluster with rgmanager
Issue
- I have configured a
clusterfsresource for my ext4 file system, but its not mounting properly. - There's an error from the
clusterfsresource that manages myext3file system - I get the error "File system type not supported" when starting my service with a
clusterfsresource
rgmanager[1234]: File system type ext4 not supported
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the High Availability Add On
rgmanager- One or more
<clusterfs>resources in/etc/cluster/cluster.confwithfstypeset to something other thangfsorgfs2
