How can I disable session creation for RESTEasy application?

Issue

During any POST request into our server JBoss RESTEasy is creating an HTTP session in the application and setting the JSESSION in the cookie.
We would like to know how to have JBoss RESTEasy not to create an HTTP session for POST requests.
